VEGETATION INSIDE THE CAMPUS

Nature is painting for us, day after day, pictures of infinite beauty. – John Ruskin

The Green Campus Committee & Science Club of Christ College of Engineering successfully initiated a small vegetable garden in our college campus as part of the World Environment Day on June 5th. Students planted seeds of a wide variety of vegetables. Students have taken keen interest in forming the sand mixture and also monitoring its growth on a weekly basis. It is truly rewarding to share that the whole process were solely done by the first year students of Green campus Committee & Science club. Gladwin of S2 CS and Abhishek of S2 EC were selected as the student coordinators. The faculty members of Basic Science and Humanities supported the event. This has developed a good sense of care among the students to sustain the planet as a green planet.
